FEIGE presents first fully electric drum filling system

Feige FILLING proudly presents the Elementra 29, a drum filling system that is operated fully electrically - a groundbreaking innovation in the industry! Before, we have already offered the lifting unit and base height adjustment in electrical design, adding the electrical actuator now turns the filling system into a completely electrical machine. Our customers are now free to chose whether they would like to operate the system fully electrically or pneumatically, partly electrically or pneumatically- ensuring maximum flexibility for their operating procedures.

With the electrically operated system, expensive compressed air generation, conditioning and distribution is a thing of the past, contrary to the pneumatic drive that continues to be available. Cumbersome blowing off compressed air through ejectors and potential compressed air leakages at seals, hoses or plug connectors are a thing of the past too. Besides, it is possible to eliminate in particular small and difficult to detect leakages that can drive up the costs for compressed air generation.

The use of electrical drives is also able to reduce tooling times during product changes. Furthermore, the electrical actuators require little or no maintenance at all. Considering the operating costs across the entire service life of the technology often reveals that electrical actuators lead to lower overall operating costs, despite the potentially higher costs of acquisition when compared to compressed air-operated equipment.

Attention: Weighing electronics no longer available

We would like to inform you that our scales manufacturer has announced a few discontinuations regarding the weighing electronics for the FS-T10K and its versions. This could have an effect on the availability of your systems.

Unfortunately, spare parts are meanwhile no longer available.

We therefore urgently recommend to upgrade to the updated weighing electronics type FS-T10E.
The retrofit will be carried out by our expert team who will be happy to submit an appropriate offer to you. Please note that this is a comprehensive intervention that cannot be carried out at short notice in the event of an acute breakdown.

Our retrofit team will be happy to answer your queries and provide support in this regard. We are relentlessly working out solutions to ensure that your systems can be operated reliably in the long-term.
